The defining feature is it’s large log store below the firebox. The wood looks great in the log store and makes the space around the stove tidier. It is also aids in the final drying process of the wood. If seasoned wood has been left outside there still can be moisture on top. Keeping the wood in this store helps to dry off the remaining moisture whilst the stove is burning. The large pane of heat resistant schott glass provides a perfect view of the fire. This steel constructed stove is well engineered and simple to maintain. It comes complete with grate, large ash pan, contemporary chrome fittings and oven glove. The Skagort Woodburning stove has a convection system where air is drawn in at the bottom, passes around the combustion chamber, and exits through vents at the top of the stove. This will evenly distribute heat around the room without any waste. Finished in black. The Skagort incorporates both primary and secondary air controls, which provide complete control over the 9kw output that this stove offers.
